Meeting with Sv'euss and the Clearing of Elgathra
Day 162: Meeting with Sv'euss - October 11th 1005
Sv'euss has one oil of acid resistance (5000 gp base), but it is not one of his normal creations. No oils of sharpness at this time, also not one of magical creations. Queries on the type of dragon Zachery witnessed produces the following - see p.80 brown dragon.
Raven teleports to the city. Travelling to the University Quarter, Raven gains entry to the Cy K'Merga - Order of the Eclipse at the southeastern edge of Ermanarik's Keep, the "Black Chapel". Raven seeks counsel with Meyr N'Mindel for audience with the Drakeer Archmage Paraswarn the Red. Exorix, 2nd beneath the Magus Demontra, greets Lord Blackbird. Raven presents four shrunken white dragon heads, with promise of two more, and after a good debriefing, invites the Drakeer Archmage to scry-analyze 3 powerful items of unknown ability; Kostchtchie's hammer, Kostchtchie's ring, and the Orb of the Great White Serpent.
Exorix has some questions:
Where were the items obtained?, Was the Demon-Lord vanquished?, what remains of his forces, how many tanar'ri were encountered?, etc. Finally, he queries the price for the heads, the completion of the third pact? Raven, himself a ranking adjunct member of the Order, answers in vaguities with a more "what can you give me once I know what I've got" attitude. Exorix offers the prices of two white dragon heads for the price of the item identifications - to which Raven agrees. Exorix takes the heads, and promises an audience at Diescroth with himself, Meyr N'Mindel and the Archmage in three days, Day 165 - October 14th, 1005. Raven expresses his honor in their threesome attendance, promises a feast worth their measure, then departs company and exits the Order of the Eclipse for Diescroth.

Day 162 - October 11th 1005: Goal to clean up the demiplane
Raven, Blindhelm and Zachery, with Damien dimunized under a protective cloak, take the charge of ridding the demiplane of the babau and possibly a brown dragon. Spells have been rememorized, commune has been established, so the threesome begin preparations for an attack. After oil application, 14 hours of oil protection still in vial.

Raven draws Nightwatcher, Helm draws Nosferatu, and Zachery his bladed wand of force. CageRod to the parthenon on the demiplane. 5 babau guard the underground temple area - battle ensues. Raven heads for the stairs to meet one, while Helm and Zachery take two on either flank. Helm 2 attacks, as longsword, 2 hits -35hpd. Helm is hit by to gaze attacks, in addition to 4 melee attacks. Gazes are saved, two hits negated by SS5. Zachery 3 attacks, all hit - 58hpd. Gazes are saved, two attacks at -7 to dispel evil negated. Raven 3 attacks, all hit 55hpd. Gaze saved, attacks missed from dispel evil.
Round 5
Blindfighting, Helm 2 attacks as longsword, beheading rolls on both kill his 2 foes.
Zachery 3 attacks, 2 hits - 39hpd kills. 2 gazes, and 2 dispel magics - dispel evil removed. Raven 3 attacks, 2 hits - 36hpd kill. 2 babau descend from above to cast dispel magic, ineffective. Last attack 17hpd.
Round 6
Helm moves into attack Raven's; 2 attacks - one beheads the other 12hpd. Counterattacks miss. Raven 3 hits - 51hpd and a vanquishing hit. Zachery missed, 2 hits - 38hpd.
Round 7
Zachery missed, 3 attacks, 2 hits - 39hpd. Helm cleaves the final babau dead.
Round 8-10
5 bodies are dimunized for transport by Raven and Zachery. Trueseeing reveals new tunnels below the parthenon normal, 5 ft in diameter - nothing else unusual. Search of bodies reveals nothing beside weapons. Tanar'ri weapons, mancatchers and barbed tridents, are magically nontuned to planar travel and allow ability to hit creatures requiring +3 to hit.
Raven, Helm and Zachery explore to the pantheon temple across the sand path. Tracks are found around both sites. Unidentifiable, but somewhat insectoid, definitely not humanoid. No obvious sign of dragonkind found. The second temple has suffered more structural damage from a strong, potent and large acid source. Holes in the temple basement penetrate the structure in three areas. They, like those found in the first structure, quickly collapse into the sandy earth. These are larger, closer to 8ft in diameter.
Helm, Raven and Zachery return to the parthenon temple for travel to Diescroth with the tanar'ri bodies, 2 whole - 5 dimunized, and acquired weaponry, thru the CageRod.
Once returned, Ardon meets with the three to examine the bodies, learn of the events transpired, and plot further action. Following this, Raven and Zachery take to rest for spell rememorization. The 5 bodies are held with the 2 others for storage and transport to Sv'euss the next day.
