Day 159 -October 8th - 3:30pm.
Hallucinary terrain, cast by Raven, 100ft over a stand of trees to a denser foliage to provide cover against wandering patrols is created. Raven and Zachery cast a diminution of Helm and Bellam to scale/fly to the roost. All four Hextorities - Raven, Helm, Bellam, Zachery - and Damien, take refuge in the treetop hallucinary terrain foliage. Illusionary area lasts to 2am-ish or until dispelled. Location 250yds north-west, outside 200yd radius of mist surrounding the fortress = 450yds or about a quarter mile out. Damien in raven form scouts the misted fortress for the departure of any patrols, to communicate telepathically back to Raven. Nothing in or out of the mist by 5pm. Infravision on Bellam (R). At 1am, several (maybe 3) large forms from above, flying in a northerly direction, descend into mist.
Party waits 30 rounds, then climbs down from their perch and marches back to the Mudship. Yurgrim surfaces the ship for docking, then submerges again once boarded.
2am. Rest 6 hours - rememorize 10 spell levels - 9:40am.
Day 160 - October 9th.
10am. 3 pm - 5th hour forms up. 9pm - 11th hour forms return.
Party teleports back to the Mudship. Raven and Zachery begin resting for spell rememorization. 10pm - 8 hrs rest - 6am. 24 spell levels = 4 hrs to restore for Raven (max)- 10am. Raven to rest 6hr - 4pm, rememorize 12 spells levels, 2hr - 6pm. 2 turns for casting strength spells each - 6:20pm. Superheroism - Zachery, Raven, 21 rounds.

All four Hextorities - Raven, Helm, Bellam, Zachery - and Damien, take refuge in the treetop hallucinary terrain foliage. Illusionary area lasts to 6am-ish or until dispelled. Location 250yds north-west, outside 200yd radius of mist surrounding the fortress = 450yds or about a quarter mile out. Damien in raven form scouts the misted fortress for the departure of any patrols, to communicate telepathically back to Raven.
Damien returns after flying above citadel and spotting 3 dragon forms on the tops of the fortress edging the mist ceiling. Damien takes a position above the party's hallucinary terrain, keeping an eye on the fortress (at night). Bellam and Helm drink potions of flying. Party flies to a position west 3 miles away from the fortress. Resist cold spells are cast. Raven fires an arrow from his firetooth bow, while Zachery via wand (74) of fire casts pyrotechnics to hopefully attract attention. Five rounds later, two groups are approaching - guesstimations for direct flight ETA ten round out. The two flying groups slow speed and merge after 5 rounds, wait in a holding pattern for 3 more, then proceed towards the now faded pyrotechnics spot. ETA 8-10 rounds to pyro sight. The party moves to intercede the group ahead of schedule. First seven rounds of activity - see spell casting list - are spent in preparation for battle. As the final spell is cast and weapons are exchanged, the opponent numbers come into view:

Party hovering at a high altitude, lets three-group warband pass underneath them, while Raven, Zachery each quaff a potion of superheroism. Three energy levels bestowed, 2d10+3 hpts, Raven +20, Zachery +17.
Round Eight
Helm descends before the warband to activate the Cage-Rod rulership function. Bellam, Zachery, Raven head to attack Kostchtchie. Zachery three attacks. Zachery battles 3 bar l'gura. Effective armor class with -9, equiv. -17 AC. K throws a dart of the hornets' nest, which divides into 12 missiles, 5 hit. First hit by Zachery with dispel evil spell still lingering (4 rounds left), banishing the first. Second bar l'gura hit for 17hp, then again for 20, saving twice. Misses, a dispel magic attempt - fails.
Raven three attacks, scores 3 hits. MR 11, 43, and 76. One hit makes it through - 19 hpt damage. K SS5, 141 hpt. 14 darts to attack AC-20, 6 dart hits, Raven SS1. Bar l'gura misses 3 times.
Bellam 3 attacks, 2 hits, K SS3. 10 darts, 10 hits. Out of SS, 42 hpt damage. 2 bar l'gura attacking miss.
Helm activates the Cage-Rod rulership power (7 ch, turn effect) - 300HD. Concentrates on the 2 air guard wings for control -6 dragons (90HD), 10 ogre magi (50HD):140, 5 ogre magi chiefs (35HD):175, Jukrel Grave (16HD):191, 5 frost giant sub-chiefs (75HD):266, 2 out of 7 frost giants (28HD):294HD total. Helm command the air guard to strike the worgs and bar l'gura - dragons breath on worg, ogre magi cone of cold on the bar l'gura, giants hold on the dragon mounts. Dragons kill six worg, badly wound another 12. Ogre magi 43 hpt, 22/11 after half tanar'ri resistance - no kills but bar l'gura injured and out numbered.
Round 9
Helm commands the dragons to finish or worgs and/or move to cave bears. Bears put up go fight, worgs continue to be slaughtered. 6 bar l'gura not fighting party teleport w/o error off battlefield.
Bellam throws hammer against an injured bar l'gura on Zachery, 35 hpt damage. Final 3 attacks on surrounding bar l'gura, 61 hot damage injures. 2 melee attack Bellam, miss. Zachery hits 3 attacks on Kostchtchie; SS nil. Raven 3 attacks, all miss.
Kostchtchie throws a hammer blow at Bellam, strikes at Zachery twice, kicks at Raven, and finally throws at Bellam again. Hits Bellam twice - killing him dead, once to Zachery SS1, and misses Raven.
Round 10
Segment 3, Zachery wins initiative with K's kick. 18hpt - K 123hpt. K's kick misses. Hammer strike segment 4 against Zachery misses. Raven's segment 5 attack with Nosfuratu scores a natural 17 - beheading the Demon-Lord Kostchtchie. His body continues swinging for the remainder of the rounds attack, but misses helplessly.

10 giant trolls and 12 giants collide, with finally all trolls dead but taking 3 giants with them, 7 left standing.

10 Cave bears and 6 now riderless white dragons collide. All 10 cave bears dead, 2 white dragons standing.
Round 11
Raven and Zachery cast charm monster spells off of scroll on Jukrel, frost giant lord.
Both save. Helm in control of warring masses.

Raven and Zachery again cast charm monster spells off of scroll on Jukrel, frost giant lord. All scroll copies used. Both save.
Round 13
Raven and Zachery dispel SS, and recast. Raven SS9, Zachery SS6. Helm instructs giants to strip down and place all loot in a pile, then assemble together on top of the troll bodies and begin "grape-stomping".
Round 14
Raven, Zachery and Helm apply poison to their blades; Zachery with frostband, Raven with Nightwatcher, and Helm with Nosfuratu. All past items re-exchanged back to original owners. Damien opens the portable hole and provides the giants access to oil kegs - add oil to their troll stomping. 6 out of 9 casks used. Last 3 kegs are given the ogre magi for their potential bonfire.
Round 15
Dust of disappearance applications are given to surviving three party members and Damien. 10 applications remaining.
Round 16
Raven hands Helm another potions of firebreath, so he now holds two vials. Zachery casts resist cold on self. Helm cast resist cold on Raven.
Round 17
Raven casts haste on the party. Damien takes a flying position to drop a potion of explosion on ogre magi. Raven and Zachery positions for casting fireballs on mass group, Helm positions for breath on dragons, while commanding everyone to moving in tight for a big surprise.

Round 19
Raven declares magic missile at remaining white dragon, Zachery moves in hand to hand with Jukrel, and other giants now scrambling for their abandoned weapons. Kills Jukrel. Helm quaffs another firebreath potion. Firebreath damage on giants running to their weapons, 28/14 hpt damage.
Round 20-22
Hand to hand finishes off straggling giants. Raven takes Cage-Rod, Zachery has Key-Sphere and an animate dead monster scroll.
Round 23 -24
Raven and Zachery both cast diminution on Bellam and Kostchtchie. The heavy cold iron hammer inlaid with nickel and silver on Kostchtchie and a sphere of the finest crystal, perfectly smooth and lustrous - milky white in color. Raven places the additional items in a sack, then teleports to Diescroth. Blindhelm takes Raven's gauntlets, Raven takes Bellam's girdle. The body of Kostchtchie, hammer and orb in separate areas. Protection and inspection of body left to Ardon. Resurrection plans for Bellam.
Round 25+
Zachery casts an animate dead monster scroll - 8 frost giants, Jukrel, 5 subchiefs, and three regs. Six dragon heads are harvested by Helm. Damien prioritizing loot pile. Tongues spell cast by Zachery. Speak with dead by Zachery, 4 questions. 1.) Where is the Jukrel and the giant treasure located in the fort? In the great table in the throne room of the fortress. 2.) How would one access or get at the wealth? Lift up the table top after breaking the seals. 3.) How would one break the seals without any undue consequences? Disarm-dispel the seals. 4.) What the is the most likely location of the hags in the fort? In the cauldron room in the hags' quarters area.
From Diescroth, Raven Cage-Rod's to the demiplane. High roll babau, low dragon.
Raven uses the Cage-Rod, and finds 7 babau; Zachery, Helm and undead giants carrying loot find a brown scaled large dragon. Potions of superheroism expired.
Initiatives survived, gazes ineffective, party immediately retreats.
Zachery, Helm and the animated giants proceed with the dragon heads to the boat. This is a slow process - 3 hours later the undead party arrive at the banks of the river. Helm dives into the river to retrieve the boat. At Helm's request, Yurgrim surfaces the Mud-Ship. The six dragon heads are taken into the ship's hold below. The giants' are submerged in the river shallows to protect the ship. Zachery begins 8 hours of rest, then begins rememorizing 4 diminution (enlarge reversed) spells, as well as normal cast of spells. 45 spell levels, for 7.5 hours rememorization; 15.5 hours total. Helm stands guard or rests in turn with Yurgrim and Patch. Zachery dimunizes four white dragon heads, then teleports with Helm back to Diescroth main temple area.
Raven returns with Cage-Rod. A dead Bellam and Kostchtchie, along with unique three items have been stowed away. Raven approaches the Demon-Lord's body for dissection with three empty preserve jars, one cubic foot each. 1.) Brain, 2.) heart stored in blood, 3.) eyes/ring hand; placed in jars. 1 hour for each bodily removal, total 3 hours.
Skell is instructed to contact Hippotiere to find any oils of acid resistance. Also to contact the Magus Demontra Sv'euss on Raven's behalf for a very special "spell components and materials" appointment. Then ask Hippotierre to contact the Arch-Mage Paraswarn for a meeting as well. After two hours, Skell returns with a successful contact to Hippotierre thru Cramar's seeing stone link. Hippotierre's House can arrange a meeting with Sv'euss as early as four hours from now. Hippotierre does not at present have any oils of acid resistance, (contact Sv'uess) but will keep lookout for a guaranteed purchase promise regardless of obtainment through Sv'euss. An contact to Paraswarn must be done at your own risk. He is hesitant enough to contact the Red Drakeer Archmage for his own business, let alone yours. Meeting with Sv'euss in appropriate interior lab is made for the next evening.
Raven starts 8 hours rest, 10 hours re-memorization; 18 total. During this time, Zachery and Helm return from the ship, and report on their finding of a dragon on the other-side of the portal to the demiplane. Raven is due to emerge from rememorization in 3 hours.
During this time, Ardon has the task of preparing Bellam for resurrection, and insulating the newest magical acquisitions, i.e. the hammer, orb and body, from any wild magical consequence. Ardon will not resurrect Bellam until he is sure the items can do him or Diescroth no harm - while he is in a weakened state from Bellam's revival. Tentative plans for revival three days hence.

Hand to hand finishes off straggling giants. Raven takes Cage-Rod, Zachery has Key-Sphere and an animate dead monster scroll.
Round 23 -24
Raven and Zachery both cast diminution on Bellam and Kostchtchie. The heavy cold iron hammer inlaid with nickel and silver on Kostchtchie and a sphere of the finest crystal, perfectly smooth and lustrous - milky white in color. Raven places the additional items in a sack, then teleports to Diescroth. Blindhelm takes Raven's gauntlets, Raven takes Bellam's girdle. The body of Kostchtchie, hammer and orb in separate areas. Protection and inspection of body left to Ardon. Resurrection plans for Bellam.
Round 25+
Zachery casts an animate dead monster scroll - 8 frost giants, Jukrel, 5 subchiefs, and three regs. Six dragon heads are harvested by Helm. Damien prioritizing loot pile. Tongues spell cast by Zachery. Speak with dead by Zachery, 4 questions. 1.) Where is the Jukrel and the giant treasure located in the fort? In the great table in the throne room of the fortress. 2.) How would one access or get at the wealth? Lift up the table top after breaking the seals. 3.) How would one break the seals without any undue consequences? Disarm-dispel the seals. 4.) What the is the most likely location of the hags in the fort? In the cauldron room in the hags' quarters area.
From Diescroth, Raven Cage-Rod's to the demiplane. High roll babau, low dragon.
Raven uses the Cage-Rod, and finds 7 babau; Zachery, Helm and undead giants carrying loot find a brown scaled large dragon. Potions of superheroism expired.
Initiatives survived, gazes ineffective, party immediately retreats.
Zachery, Helm and the animated giants proceed with the dragon heads to the boat. This is a slow process - 3 hours later the undead party arrive at the banks of the river. Helm dives into the river to retrieve the boat. At Helm's request, Yurgrim surfaces the Mud-Ship. The six dragon heads are taken into the ship's hold below. The giants' are submerged in the river shallows to protect the ship. Zachery begins 8 hours of rest, then begins rememorizing 4 diminution (enlarge reversed) spells, as well as normal cast of spells. 45 spell levels, for 7.5 hours rememorization; 15.5 hours total. Helm stands guard or rests in turn with Yurgrim and Patch. Zachery dimunizes four white dragon heads, then teleports with Helm back to Diescroth main temple area.
Raven returns with Cage-Rod. A dead Bellam and Kostchtchie, along with unique three items have been stowed away. Raven approaches the Demon-Lord's body for dissection with three empty preserve jars, one cubic foot each. 1.) Brain, 2.) heart stored in blood, 3.) eyes/ring hand; placed in jars. 1 hour for each bodily removal, total 3 hours.
Skell is instructed to contact Hippotiere to find any oils of acid resistance. Also to contact the Magus Demontra Sv'euss on Raven's behalf for a very special "spell components and materials" appointment. Then ask Hippotierre to contact the Arch-Mage Paraswarn for a meeting as well. After two hours, Skell returns with a successful contact to Hippotierre thru Cramar's seeing stone link. Hippotierre's House can arrange a meeting with Sv'euss as early as four hours from now. Hippotierre does not at present have any oils of acid resistance, (contact Sv'uess) but will keep lookout for a guaranteed purchase promise regardless of obtainment through Sv'euss. An contact to Paraswarn must be done at your own risk. He is hesitant enough to contact the Red Drakeer Archmage for his own business, let alone yours. Meeting with Sv'euss in appropriate interior lab is made for the next evening.
Raven starts 8 hours rest, 10 hours re-memorization; 18 total. During this time, Zachery and Helm return from the ship, and report on their finding of a dragon on the other-side of the portal to the demiplane. Raven is due to emerge from rememorization in 3 hours.
During this time, Ardon has the task of preparing Bellam for resurrection, and insulating the newest magical acquisitions, i.e. the hammer, orb and body, from any wild magical consequence. Ardon will not resurrect Bellam until he is sure the items can do him or Diescroth no harm - while he is in a weakened state from Bellam's revival. Tentative plans for revival three days hence.
