Turn of preparation – 3 rounds defensive spell casting and positioning only, followed by effects of three rounds of calling from the Rod of Rulership (3 charges left) Helm using rod, able to speak mind flayer with Nosfuratu.
6 of the seven mind flayers are taken in the rod of rulership.
There are 7 mind flayers and 10 crew torsopods.
The torsopods have HD6+6, MR 25%, no mind spells, half brunt damage, immune illusion or invisibility, four melee punches a round and a bite every other round. D4+6 per hand and 3d8+6 per bite, save vs petrification for locked jaws, allow bonus +4 for hand attacks.
